Do all IGCSEs have exams?
The very simple answer is; yes.
IGCSEs have been created with learners in mind who are not in mainstream education or in the UK, but it is still very much the formal assessment that makes it a comparative qualification to the standard GCSE.
The difference with IGCSEs are that they are, for the majority, 100% written exam assessments, which means you do not need to worry about finding a centre who will accept non-exam assessments. You can focus on the work and completing exams at the end of your studies.
Whether you plan to go onto further education or into work, you are likely to need certificates at for this level of education. IGCSEs are a good alternative for those home-educating.
