Online Fees Policy

1.1 Fees for online commercial delivery are reviewed annually and are set on a full cost recovery basis.

1.2 Fees are published on the Pembrokeshire College LearnOnline website.

1.3 Fees for online commercial delivery can be paid at time of enrolment through the College online payment provider.

1.4 Access to learning materials will be given when payment has been confirmed.

1.5 Instalment payment options may be available on some courses. A payment plan would be completed in conjunction with the Finance Department. Failure to adhere to an agreed payment plan will result in online access being withdrawn.

1.6 Once purchase has been made there is a 14 day cooling off period. You can end this Agreement by emailing online@pembrokeshire.ac.uk within 14 days of the Start Date and receive a refund unless the pupil or purchasing organisation accesses the learning platform and uses the services during the cooling off period.

Private candidates include LearnOnline learners and candidates who book independently of their studies with Pembrokeshire College.

• A Levels £100.00 per written paper
• Resits £85.00 per written paper

Late payment fees (after 15th January) will apply if your application after our deadline and we cannot guarantee availability. Please check with us prior to application if unsure.

Withdrawal from exams

Cancellation of exams prior to exam board entry deadline: £30.00

Cancellation of exams after exam board deadline:

• IGCSE £85.00
• AS Level £95.00
• A Level £150.00

Transferred Candidate

Transferred candidates are when an exam centre enter the candidate with the awarding body and apply for the candidate to sit their exams at an exam centre of their choice, closer to home for example. This is not a guaranteed solution and Pembrokeshire College have the right to reject an application for this. This option only applies to LearnOnline learners.

Transferred Candidate Fee: £175

Assessed Grade

If written exams are cancelled and replaced by the requirement of assessed grades there will be an additional charge of £125.00 per subject.

NEA Appeals

Applicable to online learners only

Full payment of £100.00 is required on the day the appeal form is submitted to the LearnOnline|LiveSchool/Pembrokeshire College Online Team. 50% of the fee will be returned to you if you receive a different grade from the remark.

LearnOnline and Pembrokeshire College Online course cancelled by student (or purchasing organisation) within 14 days cooling off period, and no access has been made to the course or online account, course textbooks must be returned: Full refund

LearnOnline course cancelled by student (or purchasing organisation) within 14 days after commencement, and has accessed the course or online account: 75% Refund

LearnOnline course cancelled by student (or purchasing organisation) 15 days or more after commencement: No refund

Pembrokeshire College Online (Live Online Course) cancelled by student (or purchasing organisation) 28 days prior to start date: 80% refund

Pembrokeshire College Online (Live Online Course) cancelled by student (or purchasing organisation) less than 28 days prior to start date: No refund

Intensive Practical Endorsement Workshops are hosted by BioGrad and should the learner choose to enrol with them, LearnOnline/Pembrokeshire College Online act as a referral only and the learner will need to agree to BioGrad’s terms, conditions and fees policy.

Private candidates include LearnOnline learners, LiveSchool/Pembrokeshire College Online learners and candidates booking independently of their studies with the College.
