What is LearnOnline Live?

LearnOnline Live (previously Pembrokeshire College Online) allows us to offer learners a more “mainstream” learning experience without having to set foot in a physical school or college, the classrooms are online!!

We offer both IGCSE and A level courses, all of which have been developed by our subject specialists, and are delivered by skilled and qualified teachers, all with experience teaching both in a classroom and online.

We cap our classes at only 8 learners, meaning that each student will get a personal learning experience that cannot be offered in mainstream school. With high quality support from both the teachers and the office staff, we pride ourselves on getting to know the needs of all of our learners, and helping them achieve their potential as much as we can.

Our IGCSE courses involve 1 hour of online contact learning per week during term time, and the A levels include 2 hours. As well as the teaching time, LearnOnline Live offers learners access to our virtual online platform, where they will be able to go back to the content covered, submit their weekly homework and re-watch any lesson that they have either missed or wish to revisit.  Access to the recorded lessons is a great tool for learners to catch up and revise.

LearnOnline Live also includes access to a number of learner resources, which include guidance on time management, stress and wellbeing support, internet searching, UCAS, revision and exams support and guidance.

If a learner is under 18, we require a mentor to be enrolled on our platform, this can be a parent, guardian or tutor, someone who is happy to be involved in the learner’s education. As a mentor they can access our learner resources, keep track of the learner’s progress on the course, see the feedback on homework and contact the tutor directly. They will also be copied in on all email communication from the administration team meaning they won’t miss a thing.

We can offer a reduced price if you order a bundle of 3 qualifications (terms & conditions apply, please see our website for full details), and the cost can be spread across a payment plan.
